Sony and Europa are releasing a new episode of TKKG. For the first time in the history of the young investigators, fans of the series are also helping to solve a case. The Hamburg-based consulting and software company yes!devs took care of the interactive implementation of this campaign.

What have we done?

Bot development

We develop the bot that brings the gaming experience to users’ smartphones so they can solve the case together with TKKG.

Technical advice

In addition, we advise what is still feasible in the short time and what is not and help with the account verification at Facebook/Whatsapp.

Development time

We were able to complete the project within 8 weeks.

Task

Fans of TKKG are to be interactively involved in solving the mystery. This requires an individual chat bot that can communicate and interact via different channels such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.

Challenge

Particularly challenging was the personalization and humanization of the bot mechanics to make the four detectives from TKKG seem alive.

Individual texts, images and audio files personalized to the corresponding user are sent and received via various channels such as WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger.
