Background
Running over 80 websites simultaneously places tough demands on performance, scaling and stability. When legal requirements change, the implementation has to happen immediately, otherwise every hour costs revenue. Affiliate links, ad formats and content were scattered rather than centrally manageable.
What we did
We built a managed hosting and DevOps setup for over 80 websites, tailored to a fast development workflow, performance, scalability and stability. At its heart is a central platform, the Cockpit, for managing affiliate links, ad formats such as exit-intent popups and for an overview of all content. When legal changes occur, the team is trained to roll out the necessary adjustments as quickly as possible. For emergencies, a SWAT team is on standby to solve problems of any kind in a short time.
Collaboration
We work with clear project roles, backlog support and concrete time estimates. Planning is done jointly in sprints of two to four weeks, with a sprint preview on a staging domain, review and retrospective. This delivers fast response times and full predictability at the same time.
